A historic visit led by Charles Ogbu and Amarachi Attamah to the home of one of Igbo’s greatest folklorist Mike Ejeagha which they termed “Meet And Greet Ejeagha”

Charles said that “the whole idea is simply to cheer him up, raise his spirit and make him feel appreciated in our own little way now that he is still alive.”

He noted that the legend buried his wife and a son last year, a situation capable of bringing down any man no matter how strong he might be talk more of a man of 90 years.

“Ejeagha is not sick, he is just down emotionally, since burying his wife and son last year”

Charles Ogbu

Charles and Amarachi used Facebook to campaign for the historic visit, soliciting for gift and cash for the nonagenarian. They were able to collect a total cash of ₦214,000. Charles equally published names of the donors on his Facebook account .

Charles Ogbu is a socio-political Analyst and a journalist while Amarachi Attamah is a Performing poet, author and broadcaster. Both are Igbo Language advocates
