Bishop arrested for protesting at Chinese embassy still in police detention.


It was reported that he has been granted bail but the Lagos Police failed to release him.

Sahara reporters reported that the Bishop, Benjamin was protesting the first class treatment given to the Chinese while the citizens are languishing due to the lock-down.

The Bishop and General Overseer of Resurrection Praise Ministries for Africa, Samson Benjamin was arraigned at the Magistrate Court. He was later granted bail in the sum of N1m with two sureties in like sum.

The report says that he met all the bail conditions but he is yet to be released.
